Even though the logo peeled off after I received it, it still looked just like the Kalimba in the photo. It sounds like a music box when I play it. So I suggest you buy it if you are looking for a Kalimba that sounds like a music box; it's also not that heavy, and it was pretty good for the price
It works as expected, is fairly easy to tune with any basic knowledge of tuning an instrument. However, the tone is quite soft and not very resonant. If you are looking for volume, maybe go with wood.
It is perfect, it comes with everything you mention and even a stand to place it on, it is completely what I expected and it is very beautiful!!! it is worth buying it.
This kalimba is very well made. The rainbow effect looks amazing, but looks aren't why you should consider purchasing this kalimba. The sound on it is beautiful. No dead tines, very crisp sound, and the high notes don't sound hollow. This kalimba isn't going to be quite as loud as a box kalimba, but due to the body being solid, the high notes sound much better than the hollow kalimba I own. I'd recommend this kalimba to both newcomers and people who already own a wooden kalimba. Having different sound options is really nice. The only real drawback I can think of is that it's a bit heavier than a wooden kalimba, but the extra weight doesn't bother my arthritis, so it's not a big deal to me. I'm super happy I bought it and having clean sounding high notes has really inspired me to play more.I'll add pictures and video within the next few days, I just wanted to get a review out since there weren't any yet. =)
